Many Americans are looking ahead to September 11, 2002, and wondering what that day will hold.
Here in Licking County plans are underway to hold the 13th Prayer Breakfast, sponsored by the mayors of the various local communities here.
Organizer Rob Burch says the event will be staged at Adena Hall on the Newark Campus. The name of the key speaker and ticket information will be announced in the days ahead.
Burch adds the breakfast celebrates the country's spiritual heritage and will give participants the opportunity to pray for local, state and national government officials.
The event was last held in November of 2000.
Burch says, the event on this special date will allow our community to commemorate the lives of those who died in the attacks last year, and remember their friends and families in prayer.
