One of Captain Woody’s owners appeared in federal court Thursday after being indicted on numerous charges, including drug conspiracy, money laundering and tax and insurance fraud.

42-year-old Joseph Marasco of Pataskala was released on his own recognizance.

Officials say Marasco and his business partner, 33-year-old Robert Fusner of Grove City, apparently used proceeds from drug sales to purchase the business interest in Captain Woody’s, a boat and three vehicles.

Marasco also owns Maximum Street Performance motorcycle shop in Hebron, but officials say that business hasn’t been named in any indictments.

A date for Fusner’s initial court appearance hasn’t been set.
