The New Albany-Plain Local School District is offering a course to parents to keep their children safe while they are on-line.
The training is scheduled for tonight (Monday) from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the high school.
Parents who have children in grades 6 through 12 are encouraged to attend the training class.
The second on-line presentation will be on Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the middle school.
Parents will learn about chat rooms, instant messaging, blocking Web sites and how to keep children safe while they are on-line.
The trainer is an Upper Arlington police officer who is associated with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce.
