400,000 Hunters Expected in State During Season

As Deer-gun season opened in Ohio on Monday, officials want to remind hunters that clashes over private land and other problems should be handled by State wildlife workers.

The Division of Wildlife predicts that 400,000 hunters will take part in Deer-gun season which runs though this Sunday.

The division says very few fights have turned serious in Ohio.

Most violations are for being unlicenced or hunting on land without the owners permission.

Officials want to prevent the kind of deadly shooting of hunters that happened in Wisconsin earlier this month.
