Dave Bibler on Senior Levy

Because there is an increasing senior population in Licking County, a levy for the elderly will appear on the fall ballot.

Dave Bibler is Executive Director of the Licking County Aging Program says the issue benefits a number of agencies across Licking County.

“It benefits 21 organizations here in the community, not just the Aging Program, although we get 70% of the funds. Most of the money is used to support all of our programs and services that we do here at the aging program.”

Bibler they do not charge for services because of the levy.

Funding for senior services is set to run out after 2010.
