ODOT Plans to Remove the Captain Scott House

The Alexandria Community Council is working to save an important piece of history. ODOT has plans to remove what is known as the Captain Scott House located at the corner of State Route 37 and State Route 161. The village of Alexandria has recently has requested possession of the house but they do not have the funds to allocate for the project. The community council has organized a meeting on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Alexandria United Methodist Church.
