The Westerman Companies nuclear plant in Bremen is expected to create 50 jobs when it opens in the fall of 2010.

Westerman was awarded a $2 million grant form the state to assist with the $6.6 million project on Webb Summit Road.

Westerman employs 185 people currently and no radioactive work will be done in Bremen.

Construction is set to begin this spring.
