The suspect in a reported assault at the Parish House of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Granville has been arrested
Police say a secretary was approached by 48-year-old Jurodt Taylor who asked the secretary for gas money to get back to Florida.
When told the church had no money, Taylor is suspected of assaulting the secretary and threatening her with a concealed gun.
Taylor fled when the victim screamed. The secretary was not seriously hurt.
