Services for Etna Township Trustee Paul George will be held this morning at 10 a.m.

Officials say the 74-year-old died Thursday night at his home on Palmer Road.

George had served two terms on the board and was on the ballot for a third term.

Officials say the township trustees will be making a decision in the near future on whether or not they want to appoint a replacement or wait until after the election to see who is elected to the position.

George served as the President of the West Licking County Fire Board and was a member of the Etna Lions Club.

Graumlich Funeral Home, 1351 S. High Street, Columbus is handling arrangements.
