An inmate from the Morgan County jail escaped Thursday afternoon and authorities are still looking for 19-year-old Christopher Lee Clark.

Officials say Clark escaped by causing a cell door to malfunction and running out a side exit.

Law enforcement lost Clark’s trail near Malta.

He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall with short brown hair and blue eyes, weighing about 155 pounds.
