A teen died in a Sunday afternoon crash in Holmes County.

16-year-old Jeremy Lower of Baltic was killed when his car crossed the center line, went off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

Speed appears to be a factor in the crash that occurred at the intersection of Ohio 651 and Township Road 177.

Lower died at the scene.
