A Newark baby has died following a crash on State Route 60 and Raiders Road near Dresden Tuesday afternoon.

1-month-old Hali Newell was in a car seat and the Highway Patrol says her mother, 23-year-old Samantha, failed to stop at a red light and was struck by Lany Bethel of West Lafayette.

Two passengers in Newell's car, 24-year-old Juanita Graley and 74-year-old Austin Campbell were taken to good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

A passenger in Bethel's car was treated and released from Coshocton Hospital.

The accident is under investigation.
