Several roads on the eastern edge of Licking County were closed Monday due to a fuel spill.
A fuel tank on a flatbed truck began leaking on Brownsville Road, forcing crews to shut it down for the safety of county and state employees on the scene.
Officials say the trail of fuel began at Stoney Hill Road to Brownsville, then over to 16 east and Marne Road, stretching to the Muskingum County border.
Hanover Fire joined county and state employees in cleaning up Marne Road.
The report will likely be sent to the office of the Newark Law Director.
