The Alexandria Museum is putting out a call for all local veterans and current service personnel from the St. Albans Township and Alexandria area.

Officials say the museum would like to honor the veterans as part of a special exhibit of veteran’s uniforms and memorabilia.

A special tribute is being planned for all veterans and current service members during Alexandria Fun Days.

With the decline of the northwest Licking County homecoming festival, organizations are doing their part to participate in the festival and museum officials are honoring veterans.

Volunteers are needed to plan a tribute ceremony, contribute the names of local veterans and locate uniforms or other memorabilia for the four month exhibit which starts July 18th.
