A Newark man is expected to change his plea for stealing thousands of dollars in items from his employer last year.
Officials say 42-year-old James Layman is accused of stealing machinery parts, heavy equipment and scrap material while being employed at Anomatic Corporation between August and October 2008.
Court records say he allegedly admitted to taking various items but disputed the total amount stolen.
Layman was indicted for theft in October 2008.
Layman is due in court July 6th according to court documents.
